Job Description
Job Duties:
The primary responsibility of a Supply Teacher is to deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students across various age groups and subjects. This includes following the school's curriculum, managing classroom behaviour, and assessing student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Teacher or Supply Teacher is preferred but not essential. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
- Excellent organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Additional training in specific subject areas
- Experience working with special educational needs students
Working Conditions:
Supply Teachers may work in different schools on a day-to-day basis, adapting to different environments and student needs. The role requires flexibility and the ability to quickly establish rapport with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
