Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the school's academic calendar and daily schedule. The teacher may be required to work with students of various ages and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
