Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school to ensure continuity in learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior teaching experience in a classroom setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work in various schools within the East of England region
  • Full-time hours, typically following school hours
  • Opportunity for ongoing assignments based on performance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
