Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
  • Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, adhering to school policies and procedures. The position may require occasional participation in school events or meetings outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
