Job Duties:

1. Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. 2. Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning. 3. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. 4. Provide feedback to regular teachers regarding students' progress and any issues that arise. 5. Collaborate with other staff members to meet the educational needs of students.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Proven experience working as a teacher in a classroom setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching students in a school environment

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners - Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional teaching certifications - Experience working as a supply teacher

Working Conditions:

- Work in various schools within the Morden area - Full-time hours with potential for overtime - Collaborative and supportive work environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
