Role Overview:
We are looking for reliable and experienced supply teachers to cover short-term absences in a variety of schools across Bristol. As a supply teacher, you will be expected to deliver lessons to a high standard, maintain classroom discipline, and support students in their learning. These roles provide a great opportunity for teachers who are seeking flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure students remain engaged.
  • Provide feedback to schools on the progress of students during your cover period.
  • Adapt lessons as necessary to suit the needs of students in the class.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching (primary, secondary, or both).
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments and teaching settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
