Role Overview:
As a Supply Teacher in Nottingham, you'll play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the curriculum, managing classroom behaviour, and assessing student progress. Your feedback will be essential to students, parents, and colleagues alike, and you’ll actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Collaboration with fellow educators is key to continuously improving teaching practises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver captivating lessons in accordance with the curriculum
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student development
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Engage in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies
Required Qualifications:
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in the subject area
Experience and Skills:
- Recent classroom teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Adaptable teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in specific subjects
- Experience with secondary school students
Working Environment:
This role primarily involves teaching in primary schools across Nottingham, East Midlands. As a Supply Teacher, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide high-quality education and support, fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
