£125 - £165 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt them as needed
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and behaviour
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working as a supply teacher in a similar setting
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting following the school calendar
- May require travel to different schools within the St Ives area
- Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
