Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Lessons: teach across various subjects, following the plans provided by the school or department.

Adapt to Different Environments: work in a variety of secondary schools, adapting to different teaching styles, subjects, and age groups.

Classroom Management: maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, ensuring students remain focused and productive.

Support Students: provide academic support to students, helping them progress and meet their learning objectives.

Report on Student Progress: provide feedback on student performance and assist in the collection of relevant data to inform future lessons.

professionalism: maintain a high standard of professionalism in line with school policies, protocols, and safeguarding requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential for all subjects.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area (essential for subject-specific teaching).
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for a DBS.
  • Passion for Education and helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to provide engaging and interactive lessons that stimulate student learning.
