Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in the Swindon area and are looking for reliable, flexible and committed Cover Supervisors to support them with supply roles for the remainder of this academic year. 

Hours: 08.30 - 15.30

Employment Type: Both full and part time considered

The joy of this role, is that you do not need to be qualified to carry out the role. As long as you have relevant experience working with childre and young people in some capacity, or are a specialist in a field with links to the curriculum, the schools would love to hear from you. 

As a subject specialist, you might be a Student, Graduate, or have worked in a field with links too:

  • Maths
  • Science
  • English
  • Humanities (Geography and History)
  • PE
  • DT (Food, Textiles, Woodwork)
  • RE
  • Art

The schools are open to both full and part time applicants. If you are looking for flexibility and control in your work, this is for you. Alternatively, we can also look for full time roles set in one school. 

The Role

  • Supervise and support students in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, with a particular emphasis on a specific subject.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students stay engaged with their learning.

  • Adapt to different year groups and subjects as required.
