Student Support Worker – West London

Location: West London
Position: Full-time and part-time available
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Worker to join a vibrant team in West London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping students overcome barriers to learning, offering both academic and emotional support to help them thrive. You’ll collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

  • Help create and implement individualised support plans alongside staff and external agencies

  • Support students in managing emotions and building resilience

  • Track progress and share feedback with teaching staff and families

  • Encourage positive behaviour and uphold school values

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or pastoral setting is desirable

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A caring, empathetic, and patient approach

  • Resilience when faced with challenges

  • Passion for supporting student well-being and academic progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
