Role: Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)
Location: Enfield
Term – Long Term – Full Time – Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm - September start
Contract: Full time for the Academic year
Pay: £85 to £130 P/D (Depending Upon Experience)
Protocol Education are seeking an experienced Educational Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a dynamic school team, providing vital support to our client mainstream school . Someone Willing and able to travel to the school in the Ponders end area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Independently manage a caseload of early years students, delivering tailored speech and language therapy to address their unique communication needs.
- Therapy Sessions: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, aligning interventions with students' specific requirements.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Act as the SALT representative in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
- School Vision: Embrace and promote the school's values and vision in all aspects of your work.
- EHCPs: Possess a strong understanding of Education, Health, Care Plans (EHCPs) and actively contribute to their development and implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC in the UK).
- Clinical experience in speech and language therapy, particularly in an educational context.
- Proficiency in relevant assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development.
