Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85 - £120 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Camden. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of £85 to £120 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a meaningful and engaging learning experience.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual students' needs.
- Provide one-on-one support for students with emotional, physical, or learning disabilities.
- Help create a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Work closely with other staff members and professionals to deliver the best support possible.
- Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to the teacher and other professionals as required.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a special needs school.
- A strong passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be patient, flexible, and empathetic when supporting students.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be advantageous, but not essential.
