Position Title: Spanish Language Teacher

Location: North East England, County Durham, Hartlepool

Employment Type: Long-Term Temporary, Full-Time - Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging Spanish language lessons for students.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Spanish language programme.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians during parent-teacher meetings.
  • Stay updated on advancements in language teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Spanish at the primary or secondary level.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish language.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience teaching Spanish as a second language.

Working Conditions:

This position involves working full-time hours in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.
