Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish and French language
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide necessary feedback
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and learning experience
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification

Fluency in Spanish and French languages

Prior experience teaching Spanish and French to students of various levels

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish, French, or a related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Spanish and French in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of language teaching methodologies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education desirable

Experience in incorporating technology into language teaching

Working Conditions:

Work in a school environment with regular school hours

Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis

May involve extracurricular activities or events outside of regular hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
