We are looking for a Support Trainee Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support for students with Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). This full-time temporary role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while assisting in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supporting students with SLD in their daily learning activities.
- Help implement personalised learning plans.
- Support students in both academic and social development.
- Work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in supporting students with SLD and special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- A DBS check is required.
- No prior experience required—full training will be provided.
