The school : a 11-19 mixed academy with approximately 1400 students, including a thriving 6th Form, is seeking a dedicated 6th Form Administrator to join our team. Backed by an "This is a good school" rating with outstanding features by OFSTED in February 2020, we are committed to providing an exceptional educational environment.

The role :

  • Efficiently manage administrative tasks and provide a welcoming reception service exclusively for our 6th Form.
  • Offer invaluable support to the 6th Form Leadership Team, Heads of Years, and 6th Form Tutors, assisting with various administrative duties.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors and incoming phone calls, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
  • Establish and oversee effective communication systems within the 6th Form and throughout the broader school community.
  • Play an integral role in promoting and upholding the vision, objectives, and overall ethos of both our 6th Form and the wider school.
  • Contribute to the success of open evenings and school events, creating a positive and informative atmosphere.
  • Supervise the 6th Form Area and support 6th Form students, proactively addressing minor/routine pastoral and behavioural issues while seeking assistance from appropriate colleagues when necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
