SEND Teaching Assistant

       We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual to work within a SEN School within the borough of Newcastle.

    You will be supporting the students during lesson time and social time, helping them with their schoolwork, to achieve their individual goals as well as life skills lessons.

    The school caters to SEN children specifically with SEMH, Autism, Challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with SEND students.
  • Teaching Assistant Level 1.
  • Experience in a UK school.
  • Be able to manage challenging behaviours and have patience to understand and support students.
  • Have a safeguarding qualification or willing to complete a course provided for free by our company.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on Update Service, alternative willing to apply for one through us.
  • Any extra qualifications within Edcuation and SEND desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
