About the Role:

As an SEN TA, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. Your role will involve working closely with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure students have the resources they need to succeed.
  • Encourage student participation and build their confidence both academically and socially.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff regarding student progress.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
  • A relevant qualification (such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) is a bonus but not essential.
