We are looking for a reliable and adaptable individual to join a Special Needs school in the Mansfield area.

The school serves students aged 11-16 with profound multiple learning difficulties.

Job Duties:

  • Support students during lessons and social times
  • Assist with schoolwork and help students achieve individual goals
  • Participate in life skills lessons

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEND students
  • Capability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of de-escalation techniques and MAPA (Management of Actual & Potential Aggression) ideally
  • Safeguarding qualification or willingness to complete a course provided by the company
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through the company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
