We are in search of a dependable and flexible individual to join a Special Needs school in the Nottingham area. The school caters to students aged 11-16 with profound multiple learning difficulties.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students during lessons and social times
  • Assisting with schoolwork and helping students achieve individual goals
  • Participating in life skills lessons

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEND students
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
  • Basic knowledge of de-escalation techniques and MAPA (Management of Actual & Potential Aggression)
  • Safeguarding qualification or willingness to complete a course provided by the company
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through the company
