We are in search of a dependable and flexible individual to join a Special Needs school in the Nottingham area. The school caters to students aged 11-16 with profound multiple learning difficulties.
Job Duties:
- Supporting students during lessons and social times
- Assisting with schoolwork and helping students achieve individual goals
- Participating in life skills lessons
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEND students
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
- Basic knowledge of de-escalation techniques and MAPA (Management of Actual & Potential Aggression)
- Safeguarding qualification or willingness to complete a course provided by the company
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through the company
