We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. You will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the unique needs of SEND students
- Developing and implementing individualised learning plans and strategies
- Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development
- Tracking student progress, adjusting teaching methods and plans to support continuous improvement
- Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic success and student well-being
What We’re Looking For:
- A fully qualified Teacher with proven experience supporting SEND students
- Strong skills in classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet diverse individual needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on student growth
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and problem-solving
