We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary contract. In this role, you will deliver personalised support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the best educational experience possible. This is based in Ashington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students
- Developing and implementing individualised learning plans to support student progress
- Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive student development
- Tracking student progress and adapting learning strategies to meet evolving needs
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic achievement and emotional well-being
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Teacher with experience in supporting SEND students
- Strong skills in managing classrooms and addressing behaviour challenges
- The ability to tailor teaching approaches to suit individual learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a genuine passion for fostering student growth
