A Sunderland secondary school is recruiting for a SEND support assistant to work from September 2024 until July 2024.
This OFSTED graded good school is located close to the centre of Sunderland. It is a short drive from the A19, meaning it is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of South Tyneside and County Durham.
As the successful SEND support assistant will join a large and supportive department that is valued by the school community.
Your role will be to work specifically with school’s new year 7 intake. You will provide 121 supporting to a pupil with speech and language difficulties. This is fantastic opportunity for any experienced Teaching Assistants or anyone new to the role with an interest in speech and language therapy.
The role:
- Full time (Monday-Friday during term time)
- SEND support (ASC)
- Working one to one
- KS3

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
