About the Role:
We’re looking for a fun, friendly, and compassionate individual to support our students, many of whom face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be making a real difference every day, helping students develop confidence, learn new skills, and feel supported in both their academic and personal growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students in the classroom with their learning, ensuring they stay engaged and feel empowered.
- Building trusting relationships with students to help them feel safe, valued, and encouraged.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering creative, exciting lessons that make learning a joy—even on the tough days.
- Helping students develop positive coping strategies and social skills, nurturing their emotional well-being.
- Celebrating every success, no matter how big or small, and encouraging students to believe in themselves.
- Working as part of a dynamic and caring team to create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels supported.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with a big heart and endless patience who enjoys working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
- Previous experience working in an SEND or SEMH environment is a plus, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are just as important.
- A sense of humor and the ability to bring joy and encouragement to students, even on challenging days.
- A good team player who is ready to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.
- Someone who is resilient, adaptable, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young people who need a champion.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
