Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

As a Primary Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises their achievements and ability to develop.

The School is a new independent special educational needs provision, for 32 pupils aged 5-12. The successful candidate will be working alongside Teachers, support staff and therapists to deliver the curriculum and help nurture a therapeutic environment to meet a range of needs including social, emotional, behavioural, communication and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored lessons for SEND students.
- Adapt curriculum materials to ensure accessibility and success.
- Implement individualised education plans and foster a supportive classroom.
- Collaborate with support staff for holistic student development.
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching SEND students preferred not essential.
- Strong understanding of various SEND conditions and effective strategies
- Excellent communication skills for student, parent and colleague engagement.
