If so, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join a special needs school as a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Teaching Assistant (TA), SEND Support Worker, or Youth Mentor!
About the Role:
As part of the SEND support team, you will be working closely with students aged 3-19 with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Physical Disabilities (PMLD).
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning
✅ Use creative approaches to keep students engaged and motivated
✅ Support students’ emotional and social development in a nurturing environment
✅ Assist with behavior management using positive and proactive strategies
✅ Work closely with teachers, therapists & families to ensure the best outcomes
✅ Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
