Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Help with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Monitor and report on students’ progress and development.
- Promote independence and social integration among students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEND.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
