Do you have a passion for helping children with special needs? Are you ready to make a real impact and be part of a team that’s dedicated to improving the lives of students? Whether you come from a social care background, have personal experience supporting SEND, or simply have a deep desire to support children, we want to hear from you!

Protocol Education is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a specialist school that focuses on supporting children with a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD, and PMLD. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where compassion and dedication come first, and where every child gets the chance to thrive!

Why This Role is Perfect for You:

  • A genuine passion for supporting SEND students and helping them succeed.
  • No experience required—just a willingness to learn and make a difference.
  • Work with an incredible team that’s committed to empowering children with diverse needs.
  • Help students develop self-confidence, social skills, and achieve their personal goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, offering them encouragement and guidance.
  • Promote inclusion and create a positive, supportive environment where every child feels valued.
  • Work alongside teachers and professionals to develop tailored learning strategies and ensure individual needs are met.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A friendly, positive, and patient approach to teaching and supporting students.
  • A willingness to undergo training (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling, and Hoisting)—desirable but not essential.
  • Availability for a full-time, long-term role (5 days a week, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
  • A desire to build strong relationships with students and become a trusted mentor.

What We Offer You:

  • The opportunity to work in a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference.
  • Professional growth through hands-on experience and training.
  • A supportive team that will guide you every step of the way.
  • The chance to be part of a school that’s all about empowering students with special needs.

If this role sounds like the perfect fit for you, we’d love to hear from you!

Let’s work together to change lives and create opportunities for students with special needs.
