SEND Learning Support Assistant | Chelmsford

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives? We are seeking a passionate SEND Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Chelmsford. If you're experienced in working with children with special educational needs (SEN), this could be the perfect role for you!

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting small groups and 1:1 with SEN children

Assisting children with academic tasks, helping them achieve their full potential

Providing excellent behavioral management and communication

‍ Using creative resources to help students understand and engage in lessons

 

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Has a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping SEN pupils thrive

Enjoys working in a team and collaborating with teachers

Can adapt quickly and think on your feet in a classroom environment

Has previous experience working in SEND

Holds a valid DBS (or is willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
