Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant- Mitcham

Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
- Providing one-to-one support for students with SEN
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to support student progress
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of SEN and inclusive education practises
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Experience implementing individual education plans
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in specific SEN interventions or strategies
- First Aid certification
