Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in supporting students with SEN

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a mainstream primary school setting, supporting students with SEN. The work is full-time and temporary, with PAYE benefits.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
