SEN Teaching Assistant role:

Protocol education are currently looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching assistant in the Doncaster area. This could be an ideal opportunity for people that have experience and a passion for supporting SEN pupils, and have the knowledge and understanding of working with pupils with additional learning difficulties.  

Job Description:

  • Be approachable and patient with good communication skills.
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils.
  • Effective record keeping in line with EHCP.
  • Support and help the teacher’s needs e.g. preparing resources.
  • Assist to make adaptations suitable to the students
  • 1:1 interventions.

Person specification:

  • Cache Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience in a SEN role – Autism experience.
  • Team Teach Qualified and experienced – must have strong de-escalation skills.

Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
