Protocol Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Northumberland. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with children who require additional support in their learning, helping them overcome challenges and reach their potential. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they feel engaged and motivated in the classroom.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to students both in class and on a one-to-one basis. You’ll help with lesson activities, assist students with tasks, and encourage positive behaviours and academic progress. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that every child, regardless of their needs, can enjoy and benefit from their education.
What you’ll need:
- Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- A passion for inclusive education and a desire to make a positive difference in students' lives
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to support students with social and emotional needs
- Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
