Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
✨ Provide 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs, making learning fun and accessible.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised interventions and adapt resources.
Build a nurturing relationship to boost the child’s confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
Support the child in developing social skills and positive interactions with classmates.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment where everyone can shine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN (a plus but not essential—we’re looking for the right attitude!).
- A caring, patient, and positive mindset.
- ️ Excellent communication skills to connect with the child, staff, and parents.
- Creativity and flexibility to adapt to the child’s evolving needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) or a willingness to train.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
