SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds (Supply)

Are you a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a difference in the lives of students? We’re looking for dedicated SEN TAs to join our supply team, working in a range of inclusive primary and secondary schools across Leeds. If you're passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, adaptable, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

  • Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Leeds (various schools)
  • Type: Supply – flexible, part-time or full-time positions available
  • Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, and physical or sensory impairments.
  • Assist in implementing tailored learning plans and behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students’ learning, development, and emotional well-being.
  • Help students engage and progress in the classroom, fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and patience to build positive relationships with students.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and a flexible, proactive approach.
  • Passion for making a real difference in students' educational experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
