Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have diverse needs, providing support to enhance their learning experience and promote their personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in their daily activities and learning tasks.
- Work closely with class teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assist in the development of tailored teaching resources and strategies.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with external agencies and specialists as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (preferred).
- Understanding of various learning needs and effective support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children’s learning.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
