SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in Leeds on a flexible, supply basis.

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications 

Role Overview:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Work closely with class teachers to adapt lessons and activities for individual needs
  • Use behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (ASC, ADHD, learning difficulties, etc.)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in an SEN setting is desirable
