Job Description: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team at an outstanding SEN school.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with additional needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of a supportive federation, the school is committed to providing individualised support to help each student develop self-esteem, achieve personal targets, and cultivate a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with SEND
  • Provide targeted support and interventions to students with additional needs
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and resources as needed
  • Manage behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures

  • Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time options available
  • Start Date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
