Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting.
- Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with ADHD and SEMH.
- Working with students in Primary and Secondary settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification or equivalent experience.
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
Experience:
Previous experience working with children.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of ASC, SEMH, and other special educational needs.
- Ability to work effectively with children in different key stages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEN Diploma or relevant qualification.
- First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced classroom environment.
- Collaborative work with teachers and other teaching assistants.
