About the Role:
As a Specialized SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working across all key stages, providing essential support to students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behavior. This role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can make a significant difference in the lives of these students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behavior, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Adaptability: Support students across all key stages, adapting your approach to meet the varying needs of different age groups.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to students, helping them to build confidence and resilience.
- Monitoring Progress: Track and report on student progress, making adjustments to support strategies as needed.

Requirements:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
