Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: All-Girls School, Croydon
Pay Rate: £90.00 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely all-girls school in Croydon. This role involves working closely with a child with severe social and communication difficulties, providing essential support to help them thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one support to a child with severe social and communication difficulties
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting the child's social and emotional development through tailored strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Strong understanding of social and communication difficulties and strategies to support them
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
