Job Description
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN
- Providing one-to-one support and guidance to students with SEN
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Additional training in SEN support is desirable
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience in supporting students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different SEN conditions and their impact on learning
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- SENCO qualification
- First Aid training
Working Conditions:
- Working hours may vary but typically follow the school day
- Work may involve physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
