Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £ 85 to £100 Per Day (Depending Upon Experience)

Protocol Education are currently working with an "OUSTANDING" primary school based in Enfield. The school is based in a central location with close transport link - The closest underground station in 5 minutes walk away and a bus stop right outside the school.
The Headteacher of this amazing primary school is looking to onboard an experieced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in KS2 supporting students either on a 1:1 basis or on a small group basis. There will be specific training provided with further opportunities to enroll on other courses while you work on this assignment.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you need:
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- To enjoy working with other people
- To be flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
- The ability to understand people’s reactions
- Active listening skills
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Prepare learning materials
- Adapt teaching support according to student's needs
- Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
- Create an interesting environment for students
- Keep records and attend review meetings
- Work with professionals such as speech and language therapists

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
