Join our dynamic team as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting KS1 and KS2 children with SEMH and ASD needs. Work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, guided by the Class Teacher.

About the school:

The School features thirteen classes, accommodating a maximum of ten pupils each, with an average of five staff members in every class team. Each class is furnished with its own dedicated classroom, facilitating peer interaction and focused learning.

The campus is well-equipped, boasting extensive school grounds and offering amenities such as a soft playroom, a hydrotherapy pool, several sensory rooms, and a student-operated coffee shop. Demonstrating a commitment to community engagement, the school ensures that each pupil experiences off-site learning opportunities once a week.

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum one year of experience with children, ideally in an educational setting
  • Passion for aiding children with SEMH and ASD requirements
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficiency in behavior management strategies
