Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom.
  • Assist the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students.
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEN students to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification

Education:

Minimum Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of learning support strategies
  • Experience in childcare
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification

Working Conditions:

This role requires working Monday to Friday in a classroom environment, providing support to students with SEN. The candidate must have the flexibility to adapt to the needs of the students and work collaboratively with the teaching staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
