Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and empathy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
