We are currently seeking an exceptional Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our dedicated team at a reputable school located in Southwark, London. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate professional to make a positive impact on the lives of students with varying special educational needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
Design and implement tailored lesson plans and strategies to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs, ensuring a differentiated and inclusive learning environment.
Provide effective support, guidance, and interventions to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Collaborate with an experienced team of SEN professionals, parents, and external agencies to devise and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
Oversee and facilitate collaborative learning activities, encourage student participation, and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning outcomes.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience working in a similar role, supporting students with special educational needs.
Sound knowledge of SEN methodologies, strategies, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexible, patient, and empathetic approach towards students with special educational needs.
Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans to suit varying learning styles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
