Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEND Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized learning plans, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support and encouragement to succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing detailed feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEND education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with students with SEND in a school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
