POSITION: SEN Secondary Teacher
HOURS: 08:30am – 16:00pm
LOCATION: LONDON

Protocol Education is thrilled to announce an opening for a dedicated SEN Secondary Teacher to join a vibrant school in North London. If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a passion for working with students who have Autism (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs, we want to hear from you!

Your Role

As an SEN Secondary Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and Deliver: Design and implement core subject lessons in accordance with school policies and schemes of work.
  • Assess and Feedback: Provide students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to foster their academic growth.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Teaching Assistants to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
  • Share Best Practices: Participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Knowledge and Skills: An understanding of various types of SEN, effective teaching methods, and the ability to differentiate lessons to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for education and helping young people reach their full potential.
  • Resilience and Positivity: A strong, positive attitude with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Experience: While experience with SEN is beneficial, it is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
